ABOUT THE GUEST SPEAKER
Aysia Elliott serves the Government Operations Consultant in the Ft. Myers field office. In this role she liaises between Senior Supervisors and other bureau employees. Her duties include performing administrative tasks, documenting procedures, and training staff. She is also required to monitor staff productivity and develop initiatives toward enhanced job performance. Mrs. Elliott has been a state employee for over 10 years and served as a compliance investigator for four years prior to transitioning into a training role with the Bureau before being hired to her current position. Her background consists of dual bachelor’s degrees in Criminal Justice and Forensic Studies from Florida Gulf Coast University. Her background in Investigations with the Bureau and her role in training bring a well-rounded view of the issues surrounding workers’ compensation compliance in both the construction and non-construction industries.
