WHAT IS ADVANCED LEADERSHIP CAPE CORAL?
In this eight-part series, participants will revisit core leadership concepts and tools to help refine their leadership skills in order to maximize business results. Each module in the series will be 3 hours in length, held on Friday’s from 9:00 – 12:00 pm.

All sessions will be held at Keiser University in Fort Myers. A variety of instructional methods will be utilized, including mini lectures, video, simulation, case studies and facilitated discussion. Each session also includes lunch.

How leadership differs from management. How does a leader move from competitor to collaborator and from controller to facilitator. Discover the evolving theories of leadership. What does it take to be a leader? What are your leadership strengths? How do you match your leadership strengths with your leadership role?

Session Two: Leading with your head and heart while mastering emotional intelligence. Can a leader lead with love versus and fear? Explore the personal courage it takes to become a moral leader?

Session Three: Explore best practices in leadership communication and leading strategic conversations. Learn how to effectively use various communication channels, their strengths and weaknesses. Discover how to effectively lead a team to high performance and methods for dealing with team conflict.

Session Four: This comprehensive course is designed for business leaders and owners in Southwest Florida, aiming to blend the transformative power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) with the core tenets of effective leadership.

Session Five: In this session, we will discuss change management techniques for effectively managing organizational change and leading teams through transitions as well as understanding the conflict that may arise.

Session Six: In this session, we will discuss negotiation and leading people who are different than you. Discuss how men and women lead differently. Learn how to develop cultural intelligence. Explore how power is different, how it can be leveraged, and how followers view the use of power.
