Southwest Florida’s top food trucks will fire up the grills for the SWFL Burger & Dog Battle, a community food festival celebrating creative burgers, gourmet hot dogs, local craft beer, and family-friendly fun at Millennial Brewing Company in Downtown Fort Myers.
The event will feature food trucks competing for the title of Southwest Florida’s best burger and hot dog by serving exclusive, handcrafted creations. Guests can sample a variety of entries, with every competition burger and hot dog available for just $5, making it easy to taste multiple offerings before voting for their favorites.
Admission is free, and attendees can also enjoy $5 beer specials, free parking, live entertainment, lawn games, and a welcoming atmosphere for all ages. The event is both family-friendly and pet-friendly, with activities and seating available indoors and outdoors.
Unlike many outdoor food festivals, the Burger & Dog Battle offers guests the option to cool off inside Millennial Brewing Company, featuring more than 300 air-conditioned seats, multiple large projection screens, and a full-service craft beer bar. Outside, guests can relax in the spacious beer garden while exploring the lineup of competing food trucks.
“The Burger & Dog Battle is a celebration of the incredible food truck community we have here in Southwest Florida,” said Kyle Cebull, owner of Millennial Brewing Company. “Our goal is to create an event that’s affordable, fun, and brings people together. For the price of a fast-food meal, guests can spend the afternoon sampling unique creations from some of the area’s most talented chefs while enjoying great local beer.”
The competition is expected to attract food lovers from across Southwest Florida, with participating vendors putting their own spin on classic American favorites. From gourmet toppings and house-made sauces to inventive flavor combinations, each truck will compete for People’s Choice honors and event bragging rights.
